On June 3, 2012, the Brunswick area received news of a horrible tragedy that claimed the lives of four young adults that attended Brunswick High School. These students were very involved in their school and in the community. This tragedy did, however, have a bright light, because one of the five young adults that was involved in the accident survived and is healing at home. As a result of multiple meetings, a set of goals were formed, as well as the beginning steps to forming a foundation called The Brunswick Blue Pride Foundation. With the help of the community and local businesses, the foundation hopes to help the families, provide advocacy for the youth, and provide scholarships. This event is the first step to meeting our goals.
Come join us as we celebrate the lives of four young adults taken too soon, and one young adult that is still with us!
