NMCCA May Member Luncheon
"Neurodiversity" with Julie Collison / Ingenuity Unlimited

Julie Collison, M.Ed., is the founder of Ingenuity Unlimited LLC, where she partners with organizations to create inclusive, accessible environments for both employees and the communities they serve. She brings over 18 years of experience in special education and disability services, along with more than a decade supporting inclusive employment, grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience.
Her work focuses on helping organizations strengthen accessibility across workplace practices and customer experiences so people feel welcomed, considered, and able to fully engage.
Most recently, Julie partnered with the Cleveland Guardians as an accessibility consultant, continuing her commitment to advancing inclusion in meaningful, practical ways.
Workplace accessibility can be simple, practical, and impactful when approached with the right understanding. This session breaks down the ADA in clear, practical terms, helping employers navigate who is covered, what “reasonable accommodation” really means, and how to approach common workplace situations with confidence. We’ll explore visible and invisible disabilities, neurodiversity, and the realities of disclosure, along with what it truly takes to create an affirming workplace culture. Attendees will walk away with practical insights and strategies they can immediately apply to better support their teams and strengthen their organizations.
