About Us

Buckeye's Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of dogs. We are a dog rescue as well as a pet service. Services we offer are boarding, daycare, training and grooming.

We pull dogs from overcrowded and high kill shelters. We take in some strays and owner surrenders. We identity behavioral and medical challenges (if any), provide rehabilitation, love and care and then find them homes that are best fit for them as well as the families. These processes involve time, dedication and money. To raise funds for our rescue, we offer pet services to the public. Revenues from these services fund our rescue work and maintain our sanctuary. Our sanctuary serves as home to our rescues awaiting their forever homes.

Daycare playgroups are kept small to ensure that each dog gets individual attention and care from our staff. Most dogs roam freely in our play area. Boarders mingle with the daycare dogs during the day. Our groomers are available 7 days a week for appointments. We have dog behaviorists to assess and work with your dogs.
