This includes encouraging participation in committees, monthly luncheons, networking groups, and opportunities to enhance their brand visibility through sponsorships.

Business at the Barn Event Planning

This committee takes the lead in planning the highly regarded Business @ the Barn Signature Event—one of the premier business-to-business networking events in the community. As a member of this team, you’ll play a vital role in organizing and executing the event. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing food vendors, securing sponsorships, and assisting with setup and teardown. Joining this committee is an excellent opportunity to expand your network, showcase your leadership skills, and gain prominent exposure within the local business community.

Clambake Committee

The Clambake Committee oversees the planning and execution of the Chamber’s highly anticipated fall Clambake, a Signature Event that has grown significantly in popularity over the years. Although the event operates seamlessly, this dedicated team manages key aspects, including planning, coordination, securing sponsorships, and decorating. Some committee members may also assist with setup and teardown on the day of the event. Joining this committee offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to one of the Chamber’s standout traditions.

Golf Outing Committee

Be part of one of the premier golf events in the community by joining the Golf Committee. This team is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of the event, including event-day logistics, setup, and organization. Committee members also play a vital role in promoting the event and securing sponsorships. Whether or not you’re a golfer, this is a fantastic way to engage with local businesses and enjoy a fun and impactful day!

Marketing Committee

This committee is tasked with developing and overseeing a comprehensive marketing program designed to enhance awareness and engagement with all Chamber events, member benefit programs, and advertising opportunities. Responsibilities include managing social media platforms, designing event templates in Canva, supporting staff with social media content creation, and producing professional marketing materials for events and member meetings.

MC Chamber Charities

MC Chamber Charities, Inc. is dedicated to supporting charitable and educational initiatives that empower Medina County residents who are traditional or non-traditional students as well as those pursuing a career in the skilled trades. We offer these students scholarships, internships, and grants to fulfill our mission to advance education and development opportunities for individuals throughout the County. We are actively seeking passionate committee members to assist with our fundraising event and the selection of scholarship recipients. Programming Committee

The Programming Committee oversees the planning and execution of the Chamber’s monthly membership meetings and signature events throughout the year. This includes securing speakers, selecting venues, and organizing additional educational or networking opportunities for chamber members. In addition to event planning, this committee coordinates member outreach for donations to support chamber events, including arranging for the collection of contributions. Members may also be asked to assist with event setup and teardown, ensuring the success of each occasion. This committee provides a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the Chamber’s programming and member experience.
